Gobhi Manchurian [गोभी मंचूरियन] With Fried Rice

Yes! I can say that it was delicious launch for me and Suchir. Suchir loved it, without saying 'NOOO' or 'ONLY' :). Dish was gobi manchurian (thick gravy) and fried rice.I made in Indian style. I didn't use chilli. It was mild spicy.

 So I am sharing here the recipe using pics: It is two stage recipe.

1- First stage ingredients : Medium cauliflower , 1/2 cup Maida (all purpose flour), pinch of pepper and salt. made a smooth batter and dipped the cauliflower florets in the batter, just fried them when till golden brown. have a look step by step.....

(1) Cut the cauliflower in big florets.

(2)Maida, pepper and salt, mix and make batter.

(3) Dip cauliflower florets in the batter.

(4) Deep fry.

                                                                                         2- Second stage ingredients : 1tbs Ginger garlic paste, 1 medium size onion, 2 capsicum, 2tbs soy sauce, 4tbs tomato sauce, 1/2tbs chilli sauce, 1tbs corn flour and salt. have a look....

 Ingredients for the gravy.....

(1) heat oil and add ginger garlic paste. fry for a minute....

(2) add onion,capsicum,salt, tomato, chilli sauce and soy sauce. mix well properly. 

(3) stir fry for 5minutse and add corn flour paste (1tbs corn flour with 1/4 cup water),  gradually add to the gravy and stir continuously till it boils. 

(4) when gravy become thick add fried cauliflower florets in the gravy. and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.  garnish it with green coriander....!

Suchir's 4th Birthday [सुचिर]

Suchir has completed his 4th milestone on 2nd June 2013. It was a small celebration with Dada-Dadi and friends. In the morning he got up around 6 O'clock and first dada wished him Happy birthday Suchir, within couple of second he replied, " NOOO HAPPY BIRTHDAY", then every one wished him but same!!!! It was not surprising for us, past few weeks he was using NO and ONLY.
Interesting story is: he easily got ready to go to party hall and played with his friends, when suchir was standing with knife in front of cake table and everyone singing happy birthday song for him then only he understood that today it is his birthday. :)

Some Crochet Stuff

Finally, I got the time to share all my small stuff here!! All stuff I made past six months. It was great fun. First time I made one stuff (Hat) for myself, but it's not perfect. pattern was in japanese, just I followed the crochet graph pattern ( not instruction ). I used wrong hook size on it, But hat looks good not bad.......:)

Simple Wall Hanging

My one more experiment with hook, thread and colourful balls. It's a great idea but not mine !!! I have seen one of my friend's house just loved it and I want see sooner on my wall. I used hook size (0.95mm) on this crochet strip.

A Summer Hat: Perfect Gift For My Son

This post is sharing too late !!!!!  I was also busy with other stuff. First crochet summer project is a Hat.  Hat size is 39 CM and height is 11CM. I think it will fit 31/2 to 4 years old but depends !!!
This pattern is very easy. So I choose it and finished with in five days. I used two threads (blue and mix black and golden) and hook size 4mm on It.  have  a look,

Today I enjoyed Indian food with my japanese friends. they were extremely excited to eat Indian food. but I didn't have much time to cook any other dishes ..........just enjoyed !!!!!!

Today is My Coloring Day [सुचिर]

Today it was windy outside. I said to Suchir  we can't go out of home today. Now what to do!!!!  I asked him do you want to colour on THOMAS?? He understood and with in a second I saw him with an old T-shirt in his hands and trying to ware. I drew a picture of Thomas and asked Suchir which color do you want to fill..... and at once he said blue color.

I loves Thomas !!!!!!!!

He wanted to play with different colours.  So I drew flower this time and Suchir filled pink colour in it. Then we filled colours in many different drawings. But last one was super exciting. I sketched Mickey Mouse; his favourite... he got very excited and wanted to colour it. He just used black colour to draw Mickey. I am amazed to see his imagination.

Colorful Vest For Spring Season

Yes, It's done!! Don't laugh !!!!First crochet project of the year. It's a small project but I hooked one year back, finally ready to wear....! My son was waiting for a log time. while I was in finishing stage he was so excited. it's open vest because he did'n want to take off. so, I decided  no need to buttons. have a look.....

Suchir's slide

Today Suchir made slide by himself just looking at the picture. He did not get frustrated when he was not able to join some blocks... I was so surprised but same time very happy.

So happy to see positive changes in him these days. He is taking interest in various activities like reading different books, watching different cartoons, playing games, making friends etc. Not like before when he used to concentrate on only one activity for months.

It was a memorable trip back home after almost a year.
